What this service is

JustGetTheRecipe is a reading tool: you give it a link to a publicly available recipe page, and it shows you that page's recipe without the surrounding clutter — much like your browser's reader mode. Recipes belong to their authors. We always display the source and link to the original, and we encourage you to visit and support the sites whose recipes you cook.

Acceptable use

Use the service for personal, non-commercial cooking purposes. Don't use it to republish other people's recipes, to build datasets, to hammer the service with automated traffic, or to attempt to access content behind paywalls or logins. We may rate-limit or block usage that harms the service or recipe sites.

Your account and content

You're responsible for your account. Your saved recipes and grocery lists remain yours; delete them whenever you like. Free accounts include a limited number of saved recipes. A paid Premium tier, when it launches, will be billed through Stripe and cancellable anytime with effect at the end of the billing period.

No guarantees

Extraction is automated and occasionally imperfect — always double-check quantities, times, and especially allergy-relevant ingredients against the original recipe. The service is provided "as is" without warranties; to the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Takedowns and changes

Site owners who prefer not to be readable through this tool can block our fetcher (we respect robots.txt) or email hello@justgettherecipe.com — we honor opt-out requests. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site.
